Research I
An introduction to the principles of scientific methods as applied to social work and the professional epistemological debate. Various designs are presented, along with basic research methods, such as problem formulation, empirical literature review, operationalization, instrumentation, scaling, sampling, data collection. A research project proposal will be completed by the end of the course.
